Making Political Decisions

John Redekop. Scottdale, PA: Herald, 1973. 46 pages.

Reviewed by Vern Ratzlaff

Basing his view on the present nature of the state as a pluralistic entity, Redekop supports a “selective involvement” (p. 19) on the part of the Christian in the decision-making processes of our political structures. “Selectivity” is a function both of the nature of the case (e.g. ecology, civil rights, religious freedom) and of the extent of involvement (e.g. individual, congregation, denomination).
